In the Preveza Equestrian Park you can take a relaxed walk with the horses in the area of the spiritual lighthouse, which is suitable even for beginner riders.<\/p>\n

If again your level allows it, you will admire the port of Preveza and the Amvrakikos Gulf from above, the traditional “Daliani” of Agia Sotiras, while you can ride away from civilization by the sea and through the forest of the area.<\/p>\n

Furthermore, with the cooperation of the Scientific Society of Therapeutic Riding and Hippotherapy of Greece, therapeutic riding sessions are held.<\/p>\n

The Museum includes exclusive finds from Nicopolis, the city – symbol of Octavian’s victory at the Battle of Actium, defining the central idea of the exhibition, which is summarised in the sentence “One battle – one city – one empire”.<\/p>\n

The main body of the exhibition takes place in the two main halls of the Museum, with a historical and thematic character, respectively, framed by individual sections that are developed in the corridors.<\/p>\n

The first room presents the historical route of the town, while the second presents aspects of the private life of the inhabitants of Nicopolis.<\/p>\n

The Museum includes exclusive finds from Nicopolis, the city – symbol of Octavian’s victory at the Battle of Actium, defining the central idea of the exhibition, which is summarised in the sentence “One battle – one city – one empire”.<\/p>\n

The main body of the exhibition takes place in the two main halls of the Museum, with a historical and thematic character, respectively, framed by individual sections that are developed in the corridors.<\/p>\n

The first room presents the historical route of the town, while the second presents aspects of the private life of the inhabitants of Nicopolis.<\/p>\n

The Water Mill Museum is located near Anthousa and can be reached by car or on foot from Valtos Parga (a long walk). The house where the old windmill stood, is now converted into a small museum showing not only the milling facilities, but also folklore tools, objects and clothes.<\/p>\n

Next to the museum is the Coffee-Bar Mill and the Anthusa waterfall 300 km up the slope.<\/p>\n
